Thanks again Nikki & Steve for a great camp trailer.
As you know we bought it after Steven, Jenny and the
girls had their great 3 month trip around Oz on some
"interesting outback" tracks and were very impressed.
We have just had a small 5 week (7300 odd km) trip
through outback Queensland......"missed all the rain!!!....and
were similarly very impressed. The trailer tows very
well (had to check for shadows to make sure it was
still there!!), handles corrugations, creek crossings,
narrow winding roads etc. etc.without a problem. Love
all the doors and drawers, there is room for everything
It is very easy to put up/down, although we did bush
camp for about a week before hitting the caravan park,
by then we were almost "experts!!" The Armadillo "turns
heads". We had several people on our travels ask about
and looked at the camper, so we referred them to your
website. One person in Ilfracombe asked if it was
much "over $20 000" and was very surprised when we
said it was "under". You after sales service is excellent.
We pinched a hole in the water hose to the sink and
you repaired it straight away. We will continue to
thoroughly recommend the Armadillo camp trailer, your
service and your friendliness to anyone who is looking

Just wanted to pass on our thanks to the team at
Armadillo for our new camper trailer and their sensational
service during and after our purchase. We recently
took it off-road for our first camping trip &
it was truly awesome!! It was very easy to pull and
travelled extremely well on some very rocky roads,
and when we arrived at our destination there was absolutely
no dust on our gear inside. With two children under
two, we had a very full load of gear but we found
that we had plenty of room when packing and heaps
of space once we'd set up our camper. The annex walls
were a life-saver as we knew we didn't have to worry
about kids escaping or creepy-crawlies getting in.
Unfortunately, the weather turned ridiculously windy
and cold on our first night but we survived and stayed
quite comfortable - once again to the canvas walls
on the annex . Due to the fact that we had two kids
to constantly keep an eye on, setting up and packing
up was virtually a one-man job which also wasn't a
hassle. Thank you Armadillo for a very classy-looking
and practical camper! |

Hello Steve and Nikki, just wanted to say thanks
for building an excellent camper trailer. The drive
home was hassle free, it tows very well. We used the
trailer on Sunday/Monday. Very easy to set up/pull
down even on the first try. We are all very happy
with the choice we made and will be sure to use it
as much as we can. Once again, many thanks for your

We finally managed to have a decent get-away over
Christmas with the trailer. We had taken it for one
and two nighters in Sept/October, but Christmas was
its first real test.
All was fantastic. We weathered the torrential rain
with no problems. We took 45 litres of water off the
annex roof in 15 minutes with buckets under the annex
poles. Everything was properly draining to the outside
edges so there was no water accumulating in the annex
or main tent roof. NOT A SINGLE LEAK!!!!!!
Even with the disgusting heat, the trailer was really
cool inside. The extra height in the tent is the difference
I am sure. We endured several days in Warwick prior
to Christmas of 42 degrees.

Hi Steve and Nikki, We just love our new camper trailer,
we have been on many trips away for the weekend and
the kids thinks it great. We are about to embark on
our big trip to Uluru in a few weeks and see the sights
of Oz.The Arma-X has lots of room to store the many
things that are going with us on the trip and will be
home for about a month on the road. We would recommend
your product to anybody that is looking for a tough
off road camper that has it all, even the kitchen sink.!
